Terms
Terms of use.
These cover this website. The agreement covering recovery work is a separate document, signed before anything starts.
What this page is
These terms govern your use of soundtracker.co.uk. They aren’t the agreement under which we act for you. If we work together, that gets set out separately: what we’re authorised to do, the share we take, and how either of us ends it. Nothing on this website replaces or changes that document.
What the site is for
This site explains what we do. Nothing on it is an offer, a guarantee that money is recoverable in your case, or advice you should act on without talking to us first.
Where we describe how collection societies work, we’re describing our understanding of general practice. Rules differ by country and they change.
Figures on this site
Market figures we quote are attributed to their source. Any illustration of what a recovery might be worth is exactly that. An illustration, not a forecast, and not a promise about your catalogue.
Accounts
If you have an account, keep your login details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has them. We may suspend access where we believe an account is being misused.
Liability
We take reasonable care over this site but don’t warrant that it’ll always be available or free of errors. We don’t exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
